I searched around online and this is an article I found. (BELOW) It doesn't explain everything, but it pretty much tells you that one of their blow ups went WAY to far, and now there's no coming back from it. What a shame... FAMILY should far outweigh all these material things they're fighting about. Sad...

GOSHEN - "Paulie" Teutul Jr. asked a judge Tuesday to order someone else to run the Orange County Chopper's company that he owns with his father. After firing his son in 2008, Paul Teutul Sr. wanted to buy back Paulie's 20 percent of the company. A disagreement on the value led the reality show stars to court when Senior filed suit last month.
An appraiser estimated the son's shares were worth more than $800,000 in 2007, according to Paulie's counter claim. In that document, Paulie asks for access to the company's financial records, $10 million in damages and other restitution. Senior wants a court-appointed appraiser and millions in damages.
Claiming misconduct, Paulie's attorney also asked the judge Tuesday to appoint an outside party to run the company until the case is resolved. A temporary restraining order was denied, Senior's lawyer, Richard Mahon II, said. The judge will hear further arguments on whether to impose rules on how to run the company Feb. 8.
