You Get What You Give by the New Radicals (1998); a one hit wonder
i dont really know what you are referring to, is the show called "this belongs to you" ? or is it a commercial advertising pbs itself? i have heard a few songs from my favorite bands as well as anime series on pbs. 'wolfs rain' soundtrack was in one show. heres the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sfbwc15OWAY http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qu9RoKU6FAw you can browse around the other songs to find the one that fits - theyre all great :) it seems like pbs is always using different instrumental pieces from all over. there was a childrens show where they had several 'they might be giants' songs in it but didnt mention the artists at the end of the show. try doing a youtube search - http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=pbs+this+belongs+to+you&search_type=&aq=0&oq=pbs+this+be hope this helps! -wolfie180g
