I don't know the actual age rating or if their is one but i wouldrecommend not to allow under 13s to read it due to sexual references but it depends how sensible the child i would also like to add that i think adults would still get enjoyment out if it though!
The first book i would say 11 up, the second, depends, should NOT be under 13... but the 3rd book i would say 10 up... i havn't read the fourth yet
