If you meant which film preceded the anime series then it would have been Ghost in the Shell itself and then Ghost in the Shell 2 : Innocence which spawned the series Ghost in the Shell : Stand Alone Complex 1st and 2nd Gigs then the film Solid State Society . The Manga, by Masamune Shirow , came before them all and was later adapted into the films and series as well as three prose books .
The movies and TV series are set in alternate universes. Ghost in the Shell is set in 2029 and Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence takes place 3 years later in 2032. The television series starts off in the year 2030. However, the third film Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. Solid State Society follows up on many of the events that ended the second season Ghost in the Shell: S.A.C. 2nd GIG.
The films and series were set within different timelines ~ see related link below .
When someone mentions they are watching a cartoon movie it could refer to a variety of things. Cartoons include classic animation, Japanese style anime movies or modern digitally created animation.
Anime isn't really a novel. They're shows about different things and different time lines. Just like a movie but with multiple plots in them.Although anime does come in the form of video and what's known as a manga (Japanese comic book.)Lately there have been some series that have been turned into graphic novels because some people enjoy reading them ^^For more info on anime + fun visit us at peach-jello.com
Whoopie Goldberg played the part of Oda Mae Brown, who speaks for Patrick Swayze's character Sam Wheat in the movie "Ghost".
Pigeon's have rather small brains, and thus, short attention spans. The only movies that are entertaining to pigeons are Japanese anime as they have lots of distracting action and tentacles which looks like worms.
Kwok Pong Wang is the stereotype of Chinese names from the movie Ghost Town.
It has the similar plot to dead man wonderland, a Japanese anime
Astroboy, a Japanese anime cartoon, is based on Pinocchio.
Yes , both pairs complement the other . Anime and manga , both Japanese terms , reflect a Japanese origin whereas movie and book hint at a Western source .
There are many ways one can find funny Japanese anime films. I suggest checking out IMdb which has all the funny Japanese anime films out there! One of the greatest funny Japanese animated film out there is "My Neighbor Totoro". Check out that movie first, before watching others.
Yes, there will be. But it's not in US theaters. It's a Japanese anime.
The answer to your question is a matter of opinion , for me it is the Ghost in the Shell films and series - others will , of course , have other opinions .
I believe you're thinking of Spirited Away.
Most likely not. As The Deltora Quest Series have already been made into a Japanese Cartoon(Anime).
anime is a Japanese movie, so the characters' names were originally Japanese translated into English by how they sound and people try to make the same sound using the alphabet in English.
Baka >_> Anime is originally from Japan. You can look it up on the internet. Anime - Japanese animated movie a.k.a. cartoon! And to top it all of, it always says Japanese series or something similar to that. And the artists of all anime like Naruto, Inuyasha, DBZ ect. are from JAPAN! [I <3 Japan x3] japan, japan, japan...anyway, you can tell the difference between Japanese and Chinese language immediatelly...they're completely different, so telling what anime is from japan and what from china, won't really be a problem for those who watch anime regulary ^^Yes and there are more than just Japanese anime as well...but Anime is originally from japan yet it is based off of Disney which is kinda weird...-.-"
I think it's more a matter of opinion but if you look at what people call "cartoons" and what people call "anime" then I would consider anime to be more Japanese than cartoons. Usually though, if it's stupid I consider it to be a cartoon.
No. It's only an anime and will remain an anime.
