Anime isn't really a novel. They're shows about different things and different time lines. Just like a movie but with multiple plots in them.
Although anime does come in the form of video and what's known as a manga (Japanese comic book.)
Lately there have been some series that have been turned into graphic novels because some people enjoy reading them ^^

There's a graphic novel whick is kind of in the style of anime but if you're thinking of an tv show then not at the moment.
