Two of the original Beach Boys, Carl Wilson and Dennis Wilson, are dead. Dennis Wilson died in a drowning accident in 1983, and Carl Wilson died of cancer in 1998. The other original members of the band (Brian Wilson, Alan Jardine, Mike Love and David Marks) are still alive, as are three members who joined the group later (Bruce Johnston, Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar).

∙ 13y agoYes, two of the nine members of the group are dead; Dennis Wilson (12/4/1944-12/28/1983) drowned in Marine del Ray, California after he got drunk and decided to dive under his boat to recover items he had thrown overboard three years prior.
His younger brother; Carl Wilson (12/21/1946-2/6/1998) died of brain and lung cancer in LA.
