The police investigation is not complete yet. But, according to CNN they're only looking at Dr. Murray as he may have administered Diprivan (propofol) in the last 24hrs of Michael Jackson's life which supposedly killed him. Diprivan is an anesthetic administered intravenously for surgeries only and MUST only be used in a hospital environment.

Michael Jackson's doctor might have prescribed the medication which killed him and there may be a case for medical malpractice, but we cannot discount personal responsibility. Michael was the one who took the drugs and sometimes you just need to stop blaming others.

Well he gave Michael the drug, so technically yes it is his fault for supplying it, but some blame must rest with Michael for taking it even though he probably knew it was dangerous.
