7/30/09 I think Michael Jackson was depressed because he understood the hard cold truth about life. Life is full of changes, goodbyes, aging, sickness, tragedy & unfairness. What we know for sure, is that life as we know it, in this world, will come to an end. Which means someday you will experience your last today. Michael was a deep thinker. His mind was filled with stories that came out through his music. Unfortunately when one thinks too deep, they can become depressed; because no living person has all the answers to life. The only epiphany I have come to on this subject, is that "happiness is a choice". Life provides many opportunities and reasons to be unhappy. But, only you can determine what thoughts you choose to dwell on. Sure its easy to think about problems and the harshness of life. But, No matter what thoughts enter your mind, choose the one of appreciation; for anything you can possibly find to be thankful for, and enjoy the moment of "right now". Choose to be happy!

To be honest with you, while Michael was alive many people would try to put him down. When he was being sued for molesting a child or whatever they say, that took a hit at his heart and soul. How could a child say such a thing about him, it was all driven by money hungry people. Everybody wanted to know every little thing about him and his daily life.
Obviously he didn't have the best childhood, but he traded it for unbelievable global fame and with that comes along the 'haters' which is the reason I believe Michael released his songs 'Leave Me Alone', 'Scream' and 'They Don't Really Care About Us'. If you really take a look at the lyrics in these songs, you'll see how much he lets you know about what he feels.
He tried to help the world see that it doesn't matter if you're black or white, that we're all humans. While he brought cultures together in his videos and showed real issues of the world like hunger and war destruction. He did care about the world and others, and I find it sad how people can stoop so low as to continue to stab and try to debase Michael's hard earned fame AFTER HE'S DEAD? Have some sympathy people, I mean a McJackson burger......really?
R.I.P Michael Jackson, we know your in a better place now relaxing; watching over us; and happier. Forever in all our Hearts!

No. He had more excitment in his life than anybody. It was his father that made him sad. He never got to do what he wanted to do. His father would beat him very hard until he started bleeding. Plus. He would call him very mean names, and tease his apperance. Which is why he changed his nose.
he was a very, very sad person.he had a life full of pain.i wish more people would understand that, his father would beat him as a child,he witnessed his father cheating on his mother, his family used him,he got lots of grief from the media, all of the countless lied made up by the tabloids portrayed him as a terrible person, which he is not.he was a very very good man who only brought happiness to many people.
Michael Jackson was a very lonely man. He was happy but serious. If you listen closely to his songs they show how lonely he was. No matter how lonely, Michael Jackson was happy with his life's achievements.
Michael was very sad about his childhood because his father was an abusive person.
