Jesse was in a band called PG13 in th 80's. I used to go se them at the Flaming Mug in Fayetteville, NC. If my memory serves correct, the lead guitarist was John Hayes, the bass player was Jimmy Puckett(?) and the drummer was Mark "Goat" Whitmire. They also had a keyboard player for a bit, I think his name was Darren. I also seem to remember that Jesse's brother and a guy named Don were the roadies.

Jesse was in a band called PG13 for several years prior to joining Jackyl, however he left the band to stay in town for the birth of his son Nigel. Jesse was managing a bar called Danny's when Jackyl played there, Nigel was getting old enough and Jackyl was having issues, so Jesse ended up joining them, replacing Honeycutt.
