Jesse was in a band called PG13 for several years prior to joining Jackyl, however he left the band to stay in town for the birth of his son Nigel.
Jesse was managing a bar called Danny's when Jackyl played there, Nigel was getting old enough and Jackyl was having issues, so Jesse ended up joining them, replacing Honeycutt.
