HGV = Heavy Good Vehicle. British vernacular for what other English-speaking countries call a commercial truck driver.
None of them. . In my opinion. If u look at the silhouette of the driver after the phone call to Manns wife had been made u can see that the truck driver has a long sleeve shirt on with the sleeves pulled up almost to his elbow as he blows the horn. Then much later when the truck driver is waving him on(before Mann blows the radiator hose) you see the sleeve of a very light colored short sleeve shirt. The only man left by the end of the bar scene(that we were supposed to suspect as we saw the boots) had a denim long sleeve shirt on. In my opinion the driver was never in the bar. It was all just paranoia on Manns behalf.
NO , he was the TRUCK DRIVER for AC/DC. DAVE EVANS DID NOT REFUSE TO GO ON STAGE, rather he was booted out of the band.
Pretty sure it is a Mark ??????? came here looking for the full answer
Deadhead is when a truck runs empty. After delivering a load, you probably won't pick another one up out of that same location, so you'll run empty to get to the next load. That's deadhead. For a mileage paid driver, they'll be paid for all credited miles run - loaded or empty. For a percentage paid driver, they're paid a percentage of what the load pays to the truck, thus, they don't get paid for deadhead miles (although they can make a lot more per loaded mile than a mileage paid driver).
