Muslims can wear purity rings without any hindrances. These are rings that are commonly associated with chastity and therefore there is nothing wrong with them.
Many teenagers and young adults in America and around the world (including myself) wear purity or chastity rings. Many of these are imprinted with "TLW" (True Love Waits) or another Christian slogan or symbol. Purity rings are worn to remind the wearers of their commitment to stay pure and wait until they are married to engage in sexual activity. People may also choose to abstain from kissing (or other suggestive, but definitely not wrong) behaviors until they are engaged or married. Many times, the hand is the first or one of the first parts of a person's body to come in contact with another person - thus a purity ring, worn on the hand. It is a clear reminder that anything you have decided against (ahead of time) you will not let yourself do in the moment. So, a person wears a purity ring to remind him or herself to keep his/her hands in check and stay pure for his/her future spouse.
His sayings are: "Whoa, didn't see that coming" and "Too the lab!"
They go on your marriage finger.... the one next to your pinky.... on your left hand.
Hi, In my personal opinion... Since purity rings are considered (most of the time) to be of a christian nature it would depend on your relationship with God, if you have confessed and been forgiven, gorget about the past. On the other hand, wearing a purity ring could do NO harm. I think its just a way to help a young person struggling with the temptation of having sex as a reminder right there. (Or at least that is why I wear mine) Go for it!!! Remember, you dont even have to tell anyone if you dont want to, or even wear it in the typical (left hand ring finger) place. It is a commitment to yourself (and God, if that is what you should choose)
