The address of the house, 6151 Richmond St, Miami, Florida does not exist. The exterior shots of the house from the first season were of a real house in Brentwood California, although from Season Two on the exterior shots were from a replica built at Hollywood Studios at Disney World in Orlando Florida until 2003 when it was removed.
The Golden Girls ran on NBC for seven seasons, from 1985-1992. During its run, it was nominated for 68 Emmy awards, winning 11, and spun off two other sitcoms (Empty Nest and The Golden Palace).
