Kevin is afraid of failure. He doesn't want to let anyone down. For Joe, it's basically the same thing. He's a bit of a perfectionist, too, so he's afraid of something not being perfect. Nick is afraid of looking bad. He said he always checks his teeth to see if there's food in them before he leaves to go out!
