Is trunks older or is goten older?

In strength it would be Trunks because he is older than Goten but at near Buu saga and at the 25th Tenkaichi Budokai they had an equal strength also in smartness Trunks also has the advantage but in popularity in the real world Goten is more preferred than Trunks

Gohan is Stronger cause he has more experience when it comes to fighting

But Goten is good 2 at fighting but he really doesn't fight a lot like Gohan use to do when he was a child Goten lives in a care- free envoirment rather Gohan was helping fight Raditz, Nappa, Freiza, and cell rather Goten started Fighting right at the begining of the Buu saga But they're both Goku's sons so they are both Awesome. :)

Whomever the plot requires to be stronger at any specific point in time. Pretty much the entire plot of Dragon Ball (Whatever) is that whomever was the strongest guy in the universe last episode is now the SECOND strongest guy in the universe, because some newly introduced or newly "powered up" person just leapfrogged him.

By the end of the series, Goku is stronger, though when Goktenks was introduced he was stronger than Goku was at the time.
