RI is in the heart of Quahog country. Although there is not a town called Quahog specific, there are areas that could be. Look for "Blue Mud," and that is where the most lovely reside. The deepest purple hues, almost black at times. Someone made a claim, that Martha's Vineyard has the the best, but that is just a sales pitch, as they are abundant here as well. It may be fictional, the address 31 Spooner Street in Quahog, Rhode Island, but I can assure you, if you come here.....you "WILL,"....meet the "Great Quahog!"
