Chelsea Grin are not a christian band, the song Cheyne Stokes is actually written about the murder of someone who has abused a woman, Alex Koehler didn't specify who.
However Alex Koehler has also claimed to have no strong feeling toward any relgion, not to mention in the music video for "The Foolish One" there is an obvious shot of Alex sticking his middle finger up at a crucifix in a bar where the video is filmed.
Not to mention songs like Crewcabanger, Recreant and Lifeless are very violent and carry no Christian elements what so ever.

∙ 12y agoThey are not a satanic band, they tend to have anti-religious themes within their lyrics. However the most recent releases "My Damnation" and "Desolation Of Eden" actually tell a story, so the lyrics are very much conceptual.
