It depends on what you mean by bad. They are awsome. Music is amazing. They are now good role models. If its just about music then that's your personal opnion. I think that they are amazing in everyway.

Metallica Has Sold more albums. Where I checked Eminem has sold around 80-100 million, MeAlluca has had well over 100. I believe 110 Million But eminem is one man, metallica is an entire band, PLUS they've been in the industry longer.
The lead guitarist of Metallica is Kirk Hammet. Originally, Grant Lloyd was the lead guitarist in 1981 but he was substituted by Dave Mustaine in 1982 and he was kicked out of Metallica in 1982, and since then Kirk is Metallica's lead guitarist. NOTE: Dave was kicked out of the band because he was a drunk. He never recorded any songs; he was credited for 4 songs on Kill 'Em All. He was kicked out when he woke up one morning and the rest of Metallica handed him a bus ticket, then he formed Megadeth in 1983. Then Kirk was called to join the band. NOTE:The 4 songs are The Four Horsemen..Jump In The Fire..Metal Militia..and Phantom Lord NOTE:Dave made a song called "The Mechanix"(On the first Megadeth album "Killing Is My Business...and Business Is Good!",that is pretty much like The Four Horsemen but sped up and doesn't have the melodic imiddle section in Metallica's The Four Horsemen. The Mechanix was written by metallica and Dave Mustaine, and played several times live, but when they recorded Kill Em' All (with kirk) the lyrics where changed, an instrumental middle part was included and the name of the song was changed to The Four Horsemen. Dave plays the original metallica song that he co-created. The Mechanix originally appeared on Metallica's Demo, 'No Life Til Leather' before they made it big.
The average concert Metallica performs usually has an average of 15 to 16 songs played in one concert. Plus bass solos, guitar solos, and drum solos in between. I your lucky you'll get a 17 to 18 song set. Average Metallica concert also lasts 3 and a a half hours. Sometimes 4 hours if they feel really good that night. \m/ LONG LIVE METALLICA \m/
One, metallica
Ecasy of gold by metallica Extacy of Gold by Ennio Morricone - Metallica covered the song many years later.
