• Yes Bobby is her lead guitarist 1. Loretta toured all through out 2007 unless she had to cancel. 2. Her comeback was not with Jack White and the release of her 2004 CD Van Lear Rose, her first studio album was in 2000 titled Still Country. 3. Jack has his own band The White Stripes...coming from Detroit, MI. 4. I'm good friends with the family and Loretta's band. Bobby is indeed her band leader. 5. Loretta is still touring though out the end of this year 2008! In fact today, Saturday the 31st of May, she is performing a concert at her ranch in Hurricane Mills, TN. And last night performed in Piegon Forge, TN. Her next 2 dates after that are in Austin and Fort Worth, TX. 6. The only reason Loretta and Jack teamed up is because The White Stripes (jacks band) dedicated their CD White Blood Cells to Loretta. And they did a show together. When they got to talking Loretta said she was working on a new CD and Jack asked if he could produce it. But that was it! They don't tour together and he is not in her band. 7. I don't know all the band members but I know most of them and some of them are: Bobby, Bart, Craig, Eric...and my brain doesn't work at 3:30 in the morning especiall when I have to be at a meeting at work in 4 hours. And her back up singers are Shelton, Lee and Michael. And currently her son plays guitar for her, his name is Ernie. Her granddaughter Tayla tours with her along with her twin daughters, Peggy and Patsy, professionally known as "The Lynns" The band is known as the Coal Miners and Loretta's backup singers are known as the Coalettes!

• I have known Bob well - parents, brothers, etc. - since our high school days in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have not tracked his music career closely, but have talked with him over the years about it, saw him onstage with Loretta Lynn several years ago in a televised appearance (Austin City Limits?) broadcast in the Salem, Oregon viewing area on a New Years weekend. Bob was kind enough to leave show tickets for my wife and myself at the Chinook Winds Casino in Lincoln City, Oregon during a West Coast tour several years ago. As for "NO CONCERTS for 2007," has anyone bothered to check Loretta Lynn's website? I suppose it IS mathematically possible that she and her entourage have defaulted on all their scheduled 2007 tour dates... (they're presently booked through 12/8/07). True enough, among the numerous Bob Vogels that turn up in a simple Google search, more than one have musicians' bios. Only one - Robert C. Vogel (anyone who's known him as long as I have will know his middle name) - however, plays in concert with Loretta Lynn.

• If you can't give me proof of what you're saying (and Bob Vogel that posted was given the same opportunity) to prove this fact then I simply have to go by what I researched. I went on different Loretta Lynne sites as well and did a great deal of research on this in hopes I would owe Bob Vogel an apology. So far I see nothing.

• So the 40 plus dates we have done this year, including 2 televised Opry performances didn't happen? We just finished shows in Michigan, Soaring Eagle Casino, South Bend Indiana, and Fort Wayne Indiana. I don't have to prove anything to anybody. While it is true that she did not work in the early 90's, I got the gig in 1997. I would suggest you go to her website and ask her personal assistant, Tim Cobb. You don't have your facts correct. I can assure anyone that Jack White is not Loretta's band leader. I am Bobby Vogel and I don't claim to be Loretta Lynn's Lead Guitarist, I am Loretta Lynn's Lead Guitarist, and since 2005 have also been her Band Leader. This information is easily verifiable at her website. It is correct about Loretta doing an album with Jack White. She has done many albums and never has used her road band to record any of them. • Bobby Vogel has claimed to be Loretta Lynn's lead guitarist since her comeback, but in 2004 White Stripes guitarist Jackie White teamed up with Loretta Lynn as her lead guitarist to perform 'Van Lear Rose' (a story about Lynn's mother.) At the age of 69 the song was a hit and Ms. Lynn is back in the saddle again.

• If you are lead guitarist for Lorretta Lynn then you wouldn't be on this board having to prove it. You'd be working your buns off because she's making up for lost time! There is indeed a Bob Vogel who plays guitar, but it's not you or you'd have known this Bob Vogel owns a guitar company and doing extremely well. Then there is Bob Vogel & the Amigos and Bob Vogel a football player! Her band leader (whom she still trusts to this day) is Jack white! I research and have visited her websites and never saw Bob Vogel mentioned once and what I stated in my first post was truthful information and nowhere in there did I say a Bobby Vogel didn't exist. If you truly worked for Loretta Lynne you would then know she DID have a comeback. She didn't work during the 1990s AT ALL because her husband was extremely ill with complications of diabetes and she took a 10 year hiatus!!! Even fans know that. He died in 1996 and Loretta Lynn was extremely depressed, but eventually came back to Country Music with the help of Jack White to help her make a successful comeback in the new country style. Loretta Lynn was smart enough that she had to keep up with the new style of country even though many fans still love to hear some of her oldies such as "Coal Miner's Daughter', etc. Loretta Lynn has NO CONCERTS for 2007! I wouldn't rush to a bus, plane or train or even drive to Thackerville, OK October 26th, because there is no scheduling for any band with the name of Bobby Vogel in it and, absolutely nothing scheduled for Loretta Lynn. Bobby Vogel may play in a band, but there is nothing that proves you are Bob Vogel. You also say you've been on Oprah and doing other gigs, but cease to give the name of your band. That would be helpful. White does manage Loretta Lynn and also leading the band.

I see Bob once or twice a week, if he's not out with Loretta. Why in the hell would she put any one of her touring band members name on anything? Your average person doesn't care. Bob is a hell of a guitar player, Jack White is not her band leader, are you that stupid to think he would be her band leader? He's got a million other projects going on.

Whooah pard. You do owe Bobby Vogel an apology. My name is Jerry Mosley and I am a song writer and musician out of Oklahoma. I recorded with Loretta's full band and male singers in 2005. At that time the piano player Gene Dunlap was the band manager and Bobby was Loretta's lead guitar player. Gene told me on the phone that he was getting too old to travel, and that he quit the road gigs. He said Bobby Vogel is now the band leader. I don't know how to prove it to you other than you going to one of her concerts. You also could e-mail the folks on her web site. Bobby is a world class guitar player and sounds great on my CD's.
