Janet Vogel - Rapp ois buried at Saint Wendelin Roman Catholic Church Cemetery in Carrick, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
Janet Vogel-Rapp of "The Skyliners" died at 37 on February 21, 1980 in her garage under her home from Carbon Monoxide poisoning. It was an apparent suicide. Her high notes in "Since I Don't Have You" are priceless. Janet was such a wonderful vocalist who could do so much more that hit high notes on a fade out in a song. Check out her lead vocals on the Lp's "The Skliners" (1959), "Once Upon A Time" (1972) and "The Skyliners" (1978, not same Lp as 1959 Lp).

I think some of the members of the skyliners at that time were: Bobby Sholes, Jimmy Ross, Cathy Cooper, then later came Rick Morris and Donna Groom and of course Jimmy Beaumont
He found out he had terminal cancer.
