It depends on the kind of relationship you are looking for.

If you're looking for a date once and every blue moon and you can actually see them, then go ahead. If you're looking for a serous relationship to find a person you can really connect with, personal interaction is key, so it mgiht be the worst idea. It really all depends on your situation. If you lived where this person did at one point and then moved away permanently, than no. If you fuond this girl while you were alreayd living in a different state, then no. Only do out of state relationships if you can visit the person a lot, and have a lot of free time for them since it takes quite a bit to travel there each time! It also builds a better trust if you live near the person so you can keep updated with each other on a personal level. Web-cam and Facebook Messaging only works for a bit and cannot found a relationship from this. I've had one personally myself with a girl and it did not work. Hope this helps!
