Are we really having this conversation? There are photos/videos of him with various women. He wrote a song about his girlfriend and put her in the video, that should be proof enough that he is straight. Is it the long hair, crazy clothes? It was the eighties! Being close to his mother? He was an only child, his father left when he was young, who else would he be close to? The need for privacy? I shouldn't have to comment on that. The fact that he's never married? Smart man. In California, marriage=half of your net worth. Why do you think Neal Schon is still working? He has to, he's been divorced several times. No disrespect to Neal, I really love him, I am trying to make a point. Steve's had several long term relationships, including the one with 'Oh Sherrie'. If there was a chance he was gay, the press would have hounded him, tied him up and forced him to admit it. Case closed. Now go and enjoy the music.
