Him-and all three of his brothers-have are Christians and would love a girl who shared the same faith!

yes

This question is simply moronic... all Catholics are Christians but not all Christians are Catholics. Asking if someone is "Catholic or Christian" is like asking if they are a "Floridian or an American." As for the Jonas brothers, they are definitely Christians but do not belong to the Catholic Church... in their public comments about religion, they use language typical of Evangelical/Reformed groups. If that wasn't proof enough, numerous sources say that their father was a pastor.

yes he is christian!! and thanx for saying that all catholics are christian!!! i hate it when people say catholics are christian... like lutherans and methodists are christian 2 so why cant catholics be??

(EDIT: Yeah, Catholics were the first Christians, and are the only Christians with the fullness of Christianity. Saying that are not Christian is a Protestant fad to reaffirm their beliefs)

Okay. Not all Catholics are Christians. Being a Christian depends on whether or not you trust in Christ as your savior, and believe that he died to save you, a sinner.

So yeah. Being a Catholic does not mean that you're a christian. Niether does being a Lutheran, Methodist, Baptist, whatever. They're just different types of christians who interpret the bible in different ways.

(EDIT: This is not a forum for debate, but I will say one more thing:

Your interpretation of what Christianity is is based on your Protestant beliefs and interpretation of Scripture and is not an absolute truth. The term Christian should have never separated from Catholicism in common thought, but so is the world we live in.)

Catholics, Lutherans, ect. are branches of Christianity.

DOOD! Define Christian? It is a lifestyle, is it not? tell me how his lifestyle fits into Christianity? He has diabetes, is in a mega-million $ contract with Pepsi, which causes diabetes, and he sings about his suffering with diabetes! Then makes himself a jet-setter rock star hero meeting up with other diabetes sufferers paying their dues at concerts sponsored by Pepsi and Burger King!

Going to church or even remotely singing about Christianity does NOT make one a Christian! Speaking assertively about how Pepsi helps CAUSE diabetes and losing his big ol contract IS heroic and VERY Christian!

See, I don't how telling people about the causes of Diabetes and forfeiting your career is remotely Christian. Christianity is a faith shared by billions across the globe, but it is most important in your heart. So, saying that some is not Christian because they have diabetes and are sponsored by Pepsi makes no sense, and is not your call to make.

all i know is that he is a very strong christian. Evangelical. Just like me =] It just means that we believe in the whole Bible, and that we go to church to learn more about the Word, and to help everyone around us be enlighted of Christ. =) -PlutoLover101

the Jonas Brothers are Christian, but their songs do not really pronounce their Christian aspects. if you listen to the words of the last verse in "A Little Bit Longer" you will hear Nick singing, "So we'll wait 'till kingdom come. all the highs and lows are gone." it shows at least he is Christian. there have been rumors about in their songs they were going to put bad words in it, but they didn't so that is good. i don't even know if the rumors are real, all i know is that the Jonas Brothers are Christian, they wear Promise Rings and they don't curse. so to answer your question, the Jonas Brothers are not a specifically Christian band, but they are Christian themselves.

Who knows?!?! That's between him and God. From what I've heard he is a Christian, but to say that his been saved is his business. We can not automatically say his not when we see him do something we don't like, because we all make mistakes. Read Eph., Chapter4, Verse 29. Some people may think that means never say a swear word. I think it means no matter what happens never let anything negative come out of your mouth. (I'm still working on that one). He seems to be nice, but I've never met him, plus I know a lot of nice unchristian people. What really matters is to know you're born-again. If he's not that's his problem. Just make sure YOU are working for God.
