The Crazy Frog Song, released in 2005, is one of many remixes of this popular song which contains tracks from the original Faltermeyer recording, lyrics from a 1997 song entitled Crazy Frog by Daniel Mahmedahl, sampling from yet another 2003 version of Axel F by Murphy Brown and Captain Hollywood, and elements of a German version marketed as a ringtone in 2004. The song topped the charts in many countries in Europe, but is currently also listed on AOL's list of the top 100 worst songs ever.
