From what I have been told, the Deuce name came from Willie G's love of the old 1932 Ford that inspired the Deuce hotrod. Now whether this is truth or fiction, I am not entirely certain but this is what I found out when I asked the same question. Sounds like it might be true to me.............??? I own a Harley Deuce and to me it was (still is even tho it was dropped from the Harley line after the '07 model) the best looking Harley ever made.
