I believe Page 47 will be the original Lincoln manuscript of the Gettysburg Address, both the president and gates shared a historian's passion for Lincoln and the opening text to the speech is "Four score and Seven years ago...". The problem with book is that it isn't chronological, which makes no sense. But we know this because 1963 appears before 1947, and it appears before 1876, almost as if the book was written backwards. I haven't seen the movie in a while, if the page that Coolidge's entry is on, is mentioned, then we could figured out where in time this pg.47 was written on average.
By saying,
Page number of 1876 = X (roughly 40)
Page number of 1963 = Y (roughly 25)
1963-1876= 87
40-25= 15
15 pages for every 87 years
1 page equals 5.8 years on average in the book,
From X we could figure what date roughly 47 was written in,
47-40=7 pages which equals 40 years,
Using this whacked equation however, I would estimate the page was written around
1836, (1876-40), which is some 27 years previous to the Gettysburg address, but this equation only used estimated "X" and "Y" s , so the Gettysburg Address could still be the right answer . What did happen in 1836, you may ask, well Texas declared independence in that year for one thing. However for a real expert on American History try to get someone that isn't Canadian like me.
NOTE: THREE Major Errors in the assumptions
1. That the book is NOT in chronological order. Gates was flipping pages from BACK to FRONT. The pages ARE in chronological order.
2. Numbers of pages per year, between years, and the averages are completely without statistical validity.
3. There is NO reason WHATSOEVER to assume that the book is like a journal. It is far more probable that entries to the book would be made as needed, not on a regular basis meaning years-per-page is inapplicable to this situation.

The only thing you see is the page number. So far, that's all we know about Page 47. Is it hinting at another movie? Who knows?
Yes, there will be another national treasure because it is part of a series. :) and we dont know whats on page 47!!! It is coming out in 2011according to the director(s) they want pg 47 to be about the fountain of youth but that was the idea for Pirates of the Carribean 4 and they dont want to have the same theme so i dont know whos going to get to use the fountain of youth. Not only will it might be the Fountain of Youth but maybe Atlantis or maybe even The Roanoke Colony! So excited! I would prefer The fountain of Youth then the others. Pirates of the Caribbean can get over it. (sorry if you are a fan of P.O.C (pirates of the Caribbean). Don't get mad just my opinion.) thanks!and the movie will be released in 2012!!!Yes, there will be a National Treasure 3 but the plot and released date has yet to be confirmed.
She is either a Archivist for the National Archives a curator or the director of some department in the National Treasure series. I am not certain but by doing some research on the internet I see the same things showing up. In National Treasure 2: Book of secrets, Ben asks Abagail to look on the back of the page and she says she cant, he then says, " but you the Director of Document Conservation" so that is a big possibility of what she does. Welcome! all credits go to Disney!!
The government offered 10% of the treasure to Ben Gates, he only took 1%. That means Riley got 1/2%, which he used to buy the red Ferarri.
I know for fact there one... Two Movies I,m Not Sure about you would have to look into it..
The Pirates are the true "bad guys" Silver is technically a bad guy although he does help right near the end. But he is the villain of the film.
