She is either a Archivist for the National Archives a curator or the director of some department in the National Treasure series. I am not certain but by doing some research on the internet I see the same things showing up. In National Treasure 2: Book of secrets, Ben asks Abagail to look on the back of the page and she says she cant, he then says, " but you the Director of Document Conservation" so that is a big possibility of what she does.
