The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot.

Here is the summary for the first book, Shadowland.

You could try a series called Vampire kisses and also the Uglies.

There is this series called "The House of Night" that's also about vampires so if you like the theme you can try them: Marked, Betrayed, Chosen, Untamed and Hunted.

Either reread them or wait until she publishes "Midnight Sun", which is basically Twilight from Edward's point of view.

You could read some of the Twilight saga parodies, if you're still in the mood for twilight, they vary some in other characters point of view or what people think will happen next.

The Host

Another awesome book series is Cathy's Book, Cathy's Key, and (coming soon) Cathy's Ring. They are similar to the Twilight series, and I really liked them because of how they were written like "Cathy's" journal, including evidence. I'm sure you would really like them.

I just read this great vampire series called, Cirque du Freak. It is by Darren Shan. If you do not like gore or are afraid of it being described, do not read this. It is very descriptive about how people die and all the wars. But, other that that, it is a great series!

You could read a series called "MY VAMPIRE SISTER".

You should read Vampire Academy

read the Pretty Little Liars books they have nothing to do with vamoires but they r really good

try the Mortal INstruments series by Cassandra Clare. there are three books- City of Bones, City of Ashes, and City of Glass. Stephenie Meyer likes the series and has blurbed about the third book, City of Glass, saying that it was fantastic and aslo saying "sorry edward and Jacob, im spending the weekend with jace". (jace is one of the main characters).

another book that is amazing and Stephenie Meyer also likes is The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins. it's simply fantastic.

There is a series called the Glass house series by Rachel Caine... It is about Morgansville vampires. there are four books, but they are much thinner that the Twilight books. It is about a girl who goes to college and gets beat up to move into a house off campus to find out there are vampires in the town. She has to find a book to save a boy she has a crush on.

There is Hush hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, very good. Also Blue moon by Alyson Noel I found was very good, they have the same basic concept of the romance. Just with angles and other assorted creatures.

Fallen by Lauren Kate, I`m still reading it but it is actually a lot like hush hush by Becca Fitzpatrick, not exactly the same, but not far off.

I really liked a book called Intertwined by Gena Showlater... not really anything to do with vamps, but was in the fantasy genre.... ALSO! If you haven't read the Sookie Stackhouse novels you need to! the books by Charlaine Harris rock, and to make it even better the 10th book is being released in May 2010

The House Of Night Series. Their are 8 books so far:

These books are all about Vampyres who are Marked by a tracker and it follows the life of the teenage girl Zoey Redbird. She becomes Marked, and learns she has been gifted by the Goddess Nyx, after falling and hitting her head. She gets friends almost straight away, with okie girl Stevie-Rae (her roommate) introducing Zoey to Damien, the smart and gay one, no joke, and the Twins, Shaunee and Erin, who aren't actually related. Her friends and her take an amazing journey learning the paths of their lives, who will live or die? And, which is which? The Plot for Marked revolves around Zoey wanting to fit in, but that fails almost instantly, as her sapphire blue mark is filled in, which is strange for just a fledging.

This story is funny, abit racy in some books, romantic, mystery themed and blood pounding for more. It is an amazing book series, and there is another book after Awakened called - Destined.
