it depends. some movies(get him to the greek)are not appropriate for kids and teens. others are available for all audiences. If you are under 18 and not sure about an NR movie, ask a parent to screen it.

You can be any age you like as long as you have a parent/guardian with you at all times, my sister went with my mum to see a M rated movie and she was allowed in, and she is 8 years old!

The Motion Picture Association of America defines the 'R' rating as:
R - Restricted. Children Under 17 Require Accompanying Parent or Adult Guardian. An R-rated motion picture, in the view of the Rating Board, contains some adult material. An R-rated motion picture may include adult themes, adult activity, hard language, intense or persistent violence, sexually-oriented nudity, drug abuse or other elements, so that parents are counseled to take this rating very seriously. Children under 17 are not allowed to attend R-rated motion pictures unaccompanied by a parent or adult guardian. Parents are strongly urged to find out more about R-rated motion pictures in determining their suitability for their children. Generally, it is not appropriate for parents to bring their young children with them to R-rated motion pictures.
Most theaters will not show 'Not Rated' films. But it depends on the film. A theater may show films made before the 1968 rating system was implemented. Those are generally cleaner with no profanity.
NR means that the movie has not been rated by the MPAA, so technically you can be any age. However, being an unofficial film there can be suggestive content.
It is not how old you are, it OS your parents decision. If they want you to watch m rated movies then you can. M is not restricted anyway.Chill out and relax
'NR' means Not Rated. Technically anyone could go but most theaters will not show unrated films.
M rated movies dont need a parent or guardian, MA rated movies need an adult to accompany a child under 15.
to watch M rated movies most people say that there's no age you just need to be mature and others say you need to be 10 or over just to be sure only watch an M rated movie if you are 10 or over AND if you are mature
Yes as long as they have a parent with them. Most movie theaters I'm assuming wont stop or not allow a child to see a Mature or R Rated movie.
