Bell also headed up news departments at KVBC-TV in Las Vegas and KMGH-TV in Denver. He has been referred to by the National Association of Broadcasters as a television news icon. Bell, a licensed talent agent since 2002, now owns and operates Bell Talent Inc., a television news talent agency operating in the Los Angeles area. He is a 1973 graduate of the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University.
