Five actors who played Munchkins in the beloved 1939 film version of 'The Wizard of Oz' are known to survive. Ruth L. Robinson-Duccini [b. July 23, 1918] played a Munchkin Townswoman. Gerard Marenghi ka Jerry Maren [b. January 24, 1920] played the Lollipop Kid. Margaret Pellegrini [b. September 23, 1923] played both a Sleepy Head and a Munchkin Townswoman. Meinhardt Raabe [b. September 2, 1915] played the Munchkin Coroner. Karl Kosiczky ka Karl Slover [b. September 21, 1918] played the First Trumpeter and a Sleepy Head.
There is a 97 year old woman in Shelton, Washington that played one of the stand-ins for Judy Garland. She was in for a split-second. She tells me, that when Judy is helping the Scarecrow down, for just a split-second, it is her. She says they didn't let Judy do anything where she might get hurt. Her memory is extraordinary and she remembers nearly everything she witnessed. She remembers the actors, Judy Garlands mother (and had and interesting opinion about her). She knew Mickey Rooney and his wife Ann, has talked to Gaby Hayes and many more in around Hollywood at that time. She is so sharp and has a photogenic memory. Very interesting person. You can see by her early photos she even looked like Judy Garland.
Jerry Maren [b. January 24, 1920] is the last munchkin, as well as the last surviving cast member of 1939's Wizard of Oz.
He played the member of the Lollipop Guild that handed Dorothy the sucker.
There were babies & children who played extras in Munchkin City who may still be living but their names are unknown.
All of them. It's pretty touch and go for a while though. The Scarecrow gets shot in a shootout between Dorothy, The Lion and him, and the Witch and it looks like he's dead. They leave him behind, bleeding on the floor but no sooner than they leave the castle, The Tinman gets stabbed by a shady looking tree, but Dorothy manages to drag him away from the fray and give him a medpac so he survives and they carry on. They arrive in the Emerald City, but as they are about to go through the giant doors, the Witch jumps out and tries to smash Dorothy around the head with a bottle, but before she can, The Scarecrow appears out of nowhere and shoots the Witch with a bazooka! So yeah. pretty touch and go but in the end they're all fine.
Yes, there are surviving actors from "The Wizard of Oz."
Specifically, two women and two men who played roles in the beloved 1939 film version of "The Wizard of Oz" still live. All four interpreted roles as the Munchkins who first welcome to Dorothy Gale to the magical land of Oz. They are as follows:
1. Ruth Robinson Duccini (b. July 23, 1918), Munchkin villager;
2. Jerry Maren (b. January 24, 1920), Lollipop Kid;
3. Margaret Williams Pellegrini (b. September 23, 1923), Munchkin sleepyhead;
4. Karl Slover (b. September 21, 1918), Munchkin sleepyhead, soldier and villager.
Of the 4 original members, all of them are still alive. Only Sid Vicious is dead, he died of a heroin overdose.
In the original Jaws film, only 5 people died :)
four. Gary rossington is the only one who still performs with the band, but to my knowledge ed king, artimus pyle, and bob burns are still alive. However they are not associated with the band today. there are other living people who performed with lynyrd skynyrd at some point, but of the members who contributed to their five studio albums only four survive today
There were only 3 men ever voted the sexiest man alive in People's magazine, so I've been told by my mother.
it would be hard to list the number but there are many many mestizos alive, i would say that most of them are in Mexico and America.

The Wizard left the beautiful, enchanted, magical lands of Oz in the same way that he arrived. Many years before his meeting with Dorothy Gale, the Wizard had floated in on his hot-air balloon. Before Oz, he had lived in Nebraska. And so when he left Oz, he had on his balloon the letters 'State Fair Omaha'.
