It depends. If you're talking about all three books together it's 1008 pages for the story and with the stuff at the end it's 1137 pages. But for each book it's 398 pages for The Fellowship of the Ring, 327 pages for The Two Towers, and 412 pages for The Return of the King. Some one volume copies have 1168 pages, 1216 pages, or 1347 pages. The kindle version has 1036 pages.

Beer, ale and stout are all names used in the books.
In the version I read there were 1008 pages not counting the appendixes, which are several hundred pages long.
That will depend on what version you have. I have a paperback copy here with 330 pages in it. I have a hardback copy with 276 pages to the story, followed by the first chapter of The Lord of the Rings. The Hobbit, written by J.R. Tolkien has 320 pages in the paperback edition and 297 pages in the hard cover edition.

Lord of the Rings. Definitely. Tolkien is the father of modern fantasy. He created and developed an entirely new world with so much depth. He completely revolutionized fantasy Twilight, on the other hand, is a very terrible series. It is filled with many plot holes and inconsistencies. The characters are flat and cardboard mary/marty sues/stus... the books are just terribly written.
