Before getting to the answer, Let me say that I assume you are not 24 years old or you would know how to figure that one out, so here is the procedure . . .

Each year has 365 days in it.

Multiply 365 times 24 to get 8760.

There is only one case where you won't have exactly 6 leap years in a 24 years period. We'll get to that in a moment. Assume there ARE 6 leap years in this period of time. . .

8760 plus 6 = 8766 days in 24 years.

However, if the 24 year period spans a century mark that is NOT divisible by 400, then there are only 5 leap years in that 24 year period, so there will be only . . .

8760 plus 5 = 8765 days in that 24 year period.
