The theme 'starvation' is represnted in the Hunger Games in the form of Katniss's mother slowly, slowly slipping away after Katniss's father's death in a mine explosion. Katniss's family is desperate, and it's only when Peeta Mellark throws Katniss burned bread from the bakery that they begin to slowly grow full. Katniss hunted, gathered roots and berries and things from the woods, and fished. Eventually, Prim got a goat and sold cheese. If Peeta had not thrown Katniss the bread, they would have starved to death. Therefore, the theme 'starvation' is a highly represented theme in the Hunger Games novel by Suzanne Collins, which is now a bestselling movie!
Could be. The book tells of how Katniss survived after her father was killed in the mines. How she survived and helped her family to survive. Also the Hunger Games it self is about survival, the last person alive being the victor. Survival is a main theme in The Hunger Games.
The book is set in the future when North America is set into 12 districts. Each year the capitol picks one boy and one girl from each district to compete in The Hunger Games, a fight to the death on live tv, where only one survior comes out. Katniss's sister is picked to compete, but Katniss volunteers to take her place, therefore Katniss has to compete in the games. (In my personal opinion The Hunger Games is one of the best books I've ever read. I would definatly suggest this book.)
None of the songs on the album are played in the movie, except three that played during the credits. The songs that played in the credits were:Abraham's Daughter by Arcade FireSafe and Sound by Taylor Swift feat. The Civil WarsKingdom Come by The Civil Wars
Trust is a theme in The Hunger Games, because Katniss is always questioning who is actually on her side throughout the entire series. For example, if you kiss the wrong person, you might end up stabbed or shot. If you have read the books, you should know that she only questions people's trust in the arena and when District 13 and The Capitol are at war.
The theme for the book Divergent is Action and Romance.

The theme of The Hunger Games 2nd Series Catching Fire was that it was the 75th Hunger Games and the winners will be playing again to fight to the death.Katniss and Peeta also faked that they had a baby.At the End Peeta was captured by the Capitol but Katniss escaped to Tribute 13.
Science-Fiction. (but it does contain some romance, action and all that too)
one possible theme is not everything is what it seems To add on that ^ here are some examples: In the beginning of the book Katsa is viewed as her uncle's killing machine, so everyone is pretty terrorized at the thought of her. Another example in Katsa's point of view is that she said that her Grace was killing before she even ventured to see what else she could do ( and she found out when she was with Po that her Grace was surviving. ) The second example in the book is about the King of Monsea. In the beginning Katsa, Po, and the gang all thought that Leck was a kind hearted man who had a love for animals. Turns out that that eyepatch he wore covered up for his Grace of being able to manipulate people and he did that to pretend he was all sweet and kind. Leck ended up fooling all the 7 kingdoms for a long time until Po came up with the very thought of his Grace.
