None of the books in the Twilight series say exactly how fast Edward Cullen, or any other vampires, can run and Stephenie Meyer never said, either. However, the books did say that Edward can run as fast as a mountain lion, and mountain lion's can run anywhere from 35-45mph.
In the movie adaptation, Edward can visibly run a good deal faster than 45mph. More like 450mph!

Jacob in twilight isn't actually a werewolf he is a shape shifter as he doesn't posses all of the features of a werewolf because a werewolf bites people to turn them into werewolfs (their real name is children of the moon).Whereas Jacob was born into what he is but his family have stuck to just changing into werewolfes.
You are born a werewolf, but you don't actually become one until you are a teenager.
The actor that plays Jacob Black in Twilight, Taylor Lautner, did have to wear a wig because his real hair is much shorter. In New Moon, when he is a werewolf, Jacob has to cut it because otherwise if he tries to run as a werewolf with long hair might get him over heated. So, then, Taylor Lautner didn't have to wear a wig anymore.
A werewolf cannot kill someone who has been imprinted on by a werewolf. Example: they cannot kill Renesmee because Jacob has imprinted on her.
