Yes, you can capture it in the Safari but it is very extinct and very rare to find. BTW (By The Way) You must get the National Pokedex to do this. Another way is to migrate your Lotad from a GBA Pokemon Game such as Emerald, Sapphire, Leaf-Green, and Fire-Red

where to catch lotad in Pokemon platinum i really need one to complete the national dex
its kind of in route 204 but i bet a one cent you'll find it . it's about 8% of the time you'll find lotad .
You only can find Lotad in Platinum if you insert the GameBoy Advance game Pokémon Sapphire in your Nintendo DS. If you've done this, you can find Lotad at Route 203, Route 204, Route 210 South and Eterna Forest.
If you mean a Lotad, then you can catch it in soul silver with specific items in it. Of course, it is a lot easier to transfer a Lotad via link trade or Pal Park from Diamond, Pearl and/or Platinum or Fire Red, Leaf Green, Sapphire, Ruby and/or Emerald respectively.
lotad evolves into lombre at lvl 14
Lotad's final form is Ludicolo.
Lotad can appear around the early routes.
Well... it is very hard to find, but there is an 8% chance you can find it in route 204 (south) but it has been and hour and i still can't find it!!!
Lotad evolves into Lombre at Level 14.
You can obtain a Lotad in the Safari Zone.
Lotad cannot naturally learn it but it can be taught Thief with a Thief TM. Lotad's evolved form Lombre learns Thief at Lv. 37.
I don't really think you can. The thing is, in Sapphire you can catch Lotad but not Seedot and in Ruby you can catch Seedot but not Lotad. However in Emerald, you can catch both. So You'd have to trade from a Sapphire or Emerald. Lotad can be found on route 114 on Pokemon RUBY!
