How did Sweeney Todd kill?

At the end Sweeney Todd is left sitting with his wife (Lucy) who turned out to have poisoned herself, but not died. He is not really paying attention to what is going on around him (He seems to be alone since Ms. Lovett died) and Toby comes out of hiding and sees the razor and cuts Sweeney Todd's throat.

I am playing Toby in Sweeney Todd and I know this, I also saw the Broadway show, the movie, and the show on tour. And in all of them this is the ending. Ms. Lovett does not kill Sweeney Todd because Sweeney Todd already killed her.

Why? Because the kid saw that Sweeney Todd was a murderer.

It wasn't just that. It was because the kid saw Sweeney murder Mrs. Lovett, by flinging her into the oven and letting her burn alive. The kid (Toby) had come to regard Mrs. Lovett as a surrogate mother. If someone murdered YOUR mom, right in front of you, you'd be angry, too.

He slits his victims throats with straight razors and then presses a lever or whatever and they tilt backwards on the chair and slide down a chute into Mrs.Lovett's basement where she makes them into pies. o.o

At the end of Sweeney Todd Sweeney is singing "there was a barber..." while Toby is coming out of his hiding (Todd isn't able to see him). Toby is picking up Todds razor and is drawing closer to the barber.

Finally Toby is slitting Sweeneys throat with his own razor.
