No. Luke never turned to the dark side. Only his father did.
Of course, that's only true if you completely ignore the extended universe comics and novels that not only feature Luke turning to the dark side once a resurrected Palpatine appears, but had him breaking free and becoming a full Jedi master by way of the experience.
In the episode V The Empire Strikes Back, Yoda asks him and he replies: "Mostly because of my father, I guess."

It could be argued both ways. But directly he did not. He convinced his father to come back to the good side. When he did Darth Vader killed the emperer. That caused Darth Vader to die because it was only through the emperer's power that he was being kept alive. He was injuring by lava in his fight against obi whan. So when he killed the emperer Darth Vader died. So technically nobody killed Darth Vader he just died. However it also could be argued Luke is to blame. If he had not convinced Darth Vader to come back to the light side of the force he would not have died.
Revenge of the Sith focuses on Anakin's turn to the dark side and becoming Darth Vader

Luke's son, Ben Skywalker, did not turn to the dark side. Despite the fact he and Luke's wife Mara Jade are not in the films, they appear in the novels and graphic novels that fill the timeline after "Return of the Jedi."

Luke Skywalker is considered a hero in the Star Wars franchise. Although he struggles with his lineage and the pull of the dark side, he ultimately chooses to embrace the light side of the Force and fights against evil.
He does turn evil for a short time, but soon turns back to the light side.
"No. Only Anakin, Luke's dad turns to the dark side because he thought he could save Padme's life."In the films, you are correct. The Emperor and Darth Vader attempted to turn him to the dark side, and it was a close thing, but he resisted the lure at the last moment.I the expanded universe, however, Luke was turned to the dark side by the Reborn Emperor. I'm going to assume that by "Star Wars" you mean the movies. Anyways, the underlying "objective"--the main point, if you will--is the power of redemption. Anakin Skywalker was long vaunted as "the Chosen One" who would "bring balance to the Force" by destroying the evil Sith. When he turned to the dark side, nearly all rejected that notion--after all, how could he destroy what he was a part of? Yet Luke Skywalker, wielding the power of good, managed to turn Vader back to the light; filled with remorse, the former minion of the dark killed his Master, Palpatine. The enraged Palpatine turned his anger on Vader, mortally wounding him, yet that didn't matter anymore. Vader was beyond caring. A small part of his soul, buried deep within layers of anger, hatred, and dark side energy, had been reawakened. So he died a Jedi, not a Sith; as Anakin Skywalker, not Darth Vader. The prophecy had been fulfilled.
Darth Sidious said that Luke was the Off-Spring of Anakin Skywalker; Vader's alter-ego.Watch The Empire Strikes Back. Palpatine says , "This boy is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker". Vader asks, "How can that be?"Vader knew this kid was strong in the Force and intrigued by him, perhaps to grab as an apprentice. But when he learns Luke is his son....well....that's the rest of the story.Actually, here's the real quotes.Palp "There is a great disturbance in the Force."Vader"I have felt it."Palp "We have a new enemy: the young rebel who destroyed the Death Star. I have no doubt this boy is the offspring of Anakin Skywalker."Vader "How is that possible?"Palp "Search your feelings, Lord Vader. You will know it to be true. He could destroy us."Vader "He's just a boy. Obi-Wan can no longer help him."________________________________________________________________________Between Episodes IV and V Luke does more things that garner the attention of the Empire and eventually they find out his name is Luke Skywalker. There is only one Skywalker family in the whole Galaxy so when Vader heard his old name he knew that it was his son and began to plot to turn him to the dark side way before the Emperor talked to him in Episode V. He wanted this so they could both take down the Emperor and control the Galaxy together. Vader always had the intention of overthrowing the Emperor from the very start right after he turned to the dark side. But after his powers were diminished because of his battle with Obi-Wan he became dependent on the Emperor and he wasn't powerful enough to do it himself so he would need an apprentice and who better than his own son.
