How come in Star Wars the anakin that appears in ghost form beside yoda and obi-wan at the end of episode 6 look so much like the anakin in episode 3 if ep 3 was made after ep 6?

Because George Lucas Didn't like having the old Anakin there. For some reason he wanted the young Ani there. I have had long Discussions about this very question with my friends and family.

Without his hands and legs, Anakin was sliding down to the lava stream where the lava made contact with Anakin's clothes and burned him alive. Obi-Wan took Anakin's lightsaber (which Anakin dropped when Obi-Wan chopped Anakin's legs and hand) and left him there.
