Janie C Ramirez and The Cactus Country Band are but a sunset in the past and for some treasured memories. The band members Janie C Ramirez - (lead vocals, Hilario (Lalo) Ramirez- (rhythm guitar, vocals), Clyde Chavez - (bass, vocals, violin), Alvaro Dominguez - (lead guitar), Roy Meave - (lead guitar, Hawaiian guitar, Accordion, harmonica, vocals), Ted (Teddy) Dominguez - (drums, percussion's, Joe Walker- (piano, harmonica, vocals) and Lorenzo Morales - (violin), parted ways to never reunite again in the late 80s. Janie went on to have a solo career and some of the members continued in the music industry as others decided to leave the music scene all together and filter themselves back into their normal life's. The only thing that is known, is that this Lady and these group of guys felt privileged and honored to have been given the opportunity to meet so many beautiful people and have so many loyal fans. They also took with them many treasured memories.
