Don't ever send your GSD alone to face a wolf. If you trained and cooperate well with your GSD, he will easily win or even kill a wolf with your cooperation. Get a long stick and go behind your GSD yelling to support your GSD and also to scare the wolf. The wolf will lose its confidence and also distracted, a second of distracted can lead a wolf to a fatal wound. The wolf will either run away or stay to be killed. But be sure to not chasing the wolf if it runs away, let it go because we all have mercy in our heart.
There is a case where a farmer sent his German Shepherd dog to attack a 35 lb coyote on his property. The coyote immediately went for the Shepherds throat and killed him instantly. Wild animals are natural born killers. Nature has selected for them to compete and survive in the wild. A Gray wolf is more than double the size of a coyote and on average slightly larger than a German Shepherd. Its bite force is double that of a German Shepherd. If you trained a German Shepherd to go for a kill bite to the Wolve's neck it is still doubtful it would win since the wolf is still stronger and has a much more powerful bite.
I would guess the German Shepherd.
I think it would be the wolf because it has natuarl wild instincts but them again dogs can be aggressive too.
The wolf, because it's stronger, faster, way more powerful claws and jaws, smarter, etc. Overall better because of wild instints and the fact that it's a raw hunting machine. Way more powerful than it looks.
the grey wolf is about the same size the same build and has the same body structure exsept a wolf has a bigger bite by 300 ppsi, lets go wild wolf wins all the way
i think a German shepherd would win if it was angry other than that a grey wolf would just about win
A wolf. Wolves are a lot larger and are extremely good at killin g because they do it every day. I like wolves but prefer dogs better.
rhino
Even the smallest species of tiger is probably 2 times the weight of the dog, so it wouldn't be much of a contest.
Courage the Cowardly Dog - 1999 Muriel Meets Her Match Courage vs- Mecha-Courage 3-1 was released on: USA: 12 January 2002
I don't think so a full grown wolf vs a full grown husky might be a tough match but wolves are more fit for the wild and stronger, huskies might pull sleds and all but wolves are natural born fighters.

Man vs- Wolf - 2012 TV was released on: USA: 7 July 2012
i think if you want the strongest dog in i think its between a wolf and saint Bernard wolves are known to have the power turn over a frozen horse or moose carcass horse weight 2800 lbs and elk weight 500-1000 lbs there is no dog that can do these like a wolf but saint Bernard could i dont no whos the stronger between them that is in body power in fight a saint Bernard is no fighter it will be between wolf german sheperd and a pitbull and rotwiller and caucasian mountain dog my opinion in a fight the wolf and caucasian mountain dog would win on all others because of size and weight advantage and for the wolf also bite force and speed advantage so its in wolf vs caucasian mountain dog and in body power (pulling and lefting and pushing )its wolf vs saint bernard but if you wanted it pound for pound compare to size the strongest canid ever is the arctic wolf its smaller than gray wolves but they are bulkier and hevier and morheavily muscled they are build like a jagur may be not strong as saint bernard or a gray wolf but pound for pound they are much stronger built than all other canids
yes but the lion will win
