(And it doesn't say for sure, but I'm guessing the woman shown is their son's wife, because it shows in the middle Kyo with a son that looks just like him "Kyo will make a great father" it said) And Yuki ends up with Machi, the girl from the student council. Yuki, however, loves Tohru too, but as a mother. Because she has always been the mother like figure to him. And Tohru loves him.....as a brother you could say. But not as a boyfriend or whatever. She loves Kyo that way.

∙ 12y agoYes, ever since Yuki returned Tohru to her mother he has always loved her, even though he knows that some part of her heart loves Kyo. Tohru's heart belongs to both of Yuki and Kyo, in the end Tohru marries Kyo and Yuki goes with Machi, they still have feelings for each other.
Well, Yuki says that he loves her like a mother... but the way I see it.. Yuki DID LOVE TOHRU. Maybe he said it that way because he knew that tohru had fallen in love kyo. You can tell because when he found out that tohru and kyo loved each other he didn't want them to be together.He din't liked the idea. Cauze he knows that kyo doesn't know "How to love". Although in the manga they didn't end up together...I think that MAYBE they will on fruits basket because they share and have about 97% of showing effection, but with kyo ther eis at least 50%. So Im praying for them to end up together cauze the books are ALWAYS different from the movie, manga, Cartoons, anime, etc.
