Who is suigetsu from Naruto?
Suigetsu Hōzuki is a member of Team Taka consisting of Sasuke Uchiha, Karin, Jugo, and himself. His has the ability to turn his body into water and reform it at will. After Sasuke defeated Orochimaru, he went into his lab and freed Suigetsu from his water test tube. He joins Sasuke and they go to retrieve Zabuza's Decapitating Carving Knife from his grave. They travel there to find out that the sword has been taken. They eventually get it from the person who was wielding it. (Note that in the manga, the Decapitating Carving Knife was still in the grave when they got it.) They persuaded Karin to join and then set off to find Jugo. They had to fight through an army of people with cursed marks to reach him and then eventually recruited him. Suigetsu seems to have a love for killing people but most of the time Sasuke prevents him but when Sasuke is not around, he would seem have a need for killing. He also seems to like animals. They eventually named their team Hebi and set off on their mission to find Itachi Uchiha (Sasuke's older brother) in hopes of killing him. They split up Itachi vs. Sasuke and Suigetsu vs. Kisame. Sasuke finally kills Itachi, but finally realizes that Itachi was still the loving brother he once knew because Konoha had ordered him to the Uchiha clan. He had disobeyed, sparing Sasuke, and joined the Akatsuki to act as a spy for Konoha. He promises to destroy Konoha for both of them. Zetsu had interfered with Kisame's fight, leaving both Suigetsu and Kisame alive. They quickly joined the Akatsuki and set off to find the 8 Tailed Beast (8 Tailed Giant Ox) sealed within Kirābī (Killer Bee). Killer Bee was soon disarmed, but Killer Bee's lightning attacks were too much for Suigetsu. He immobolized Killer Bee, leaving Sasuke a chance to attack. When Killer Bee used the 8 Tailed Menacing Ball on them, Suigetsu used himself as a shield, but left him unconscious. After the battle was finished, Suigetsu was carried away. They then set off for Konoha. Madara Uchiha had stopped them on their way to Konoha. He told Hebi (now renamed Team Taka) their failure to capture the 8 Tailed Ox. He told them to ignore that now, since it wasn't in intrest anymore. He then told them of Pain's destruction of Konoha, and how Naruto Uzumaki defeated him all by himself. Suigetsu was completely shocked of Naruto's immese power, and was amazed to find out that Naruto was probably stronger than Sasuke now. He showed dislike when Zetsu led them to the Kage Summit. Extra Info: He is 16 years old, his blood type is B, his birthdate is Febuary 18th, his favorite foods are jello and yogurt, and his least favorite food is dried cuttlefish. Suigetsu means water moon and Hōzuki means demon lantern or demon lamplight.

Suigetsu drained all of his chakra, and returned to the liquid state that sasuke found him. It is only after a little recuperation that he eventually regains his form. If your asking if hes dead; no he is not. He will continue to appear in further episodes.
