Chrono & Rosette kiss in episodes 14 & 18.
In the manga Chrono goes into his last fight with Aion, leaving Rosetto behind waiting for him to return. Rosetto knows that she doesn't have much more time left but strongly beliefs that Chrono will come back to her. In the epilogue Chrono comes to Rosetto during her last attack and the last picture is Chrono and Rosetto hugging, so a lot of people like to believe they went away together. Azumaria says that Rosetto dies, but they never show us any proof, like Rosetto's dead body or anything. So I'd like to say -No Chrono didn't die.

Yes, both have their own endings. Some characters have different personalities or purposes. Both the manga and anime versions have horribly sad endings, but both are worth reading/watching. Anyways, the main point is: Yes, they DIFFER GREATLY. The anime follows the manga about halfway then changes it COMPLETELY. In the anime the Apostles awaken Mary inside of Rosette. Actually, no, Mary is inside of that Pocket Watch around Rosette's neck. The Apostles are used to awaken and bring Pandemonium to our world. Aion then wants to destroy it. Chrono gets his horns back in the end of the manga, but in the epilogue he is in his older human form; and he is missing an arm. He wasn't before the final showdown with Aion inside of Pandemonium. Father Remington is an angel in the anime, but he isn't one in the manga! It says he just has Legion (a devil's equivalent to cells) infused inside of his body. I think in volume 6 or 7 the Elder says about 30%. Also, Rosette doesn't die at 16, she dies at 24. She waits for Chrono to come back to her. Because right before he goes off to fight Aion by himself he kisses her and tells her he will come back to her. She has her last attack right when Chrono gets there with his missing arm. But technically it doesn't show her body and say she officially died, Azmaria just says she died. But the last few pages show Rosette and Chrono, so we don't know for sure. Most people like to think they left together. There is so much more that is left out, because hey, there is too much to write down. They were really different. Typically anime and manga differ greatly. Usually the manga will go further in depth into the story in contrast to the anime will crop out quite a bit for time purposes.

No Rosette is Definetly younger then Chono.
In the anime both Chrono and Rosette died. Rosette dying earlier than Chrono for just a couple of minutes (i guess) ultimately they both died. Chrono died due to his injuries in his battle with Aion. It was not healed as implied in the last episode by Rosette saying "should activate this watch and let you heal your wounds" which was answered by Chrono with a Big NO. Rosette died because of the watch that when activated will take pieces of her soul in exchange for Chrono to be able to revveal his true form and use his powers. In the manga only Rosette died because in the end it was implied that Chrono is still alive.

Check out the Anime and Manga (but I'm warning you it's not pretty). Here's the Manga Version: Rosette and her brother meet a youkai (demon) named Chrono. Eventually Aion (another demon and apparently Chrono's brother) takes Rosette's brother and starts to gather the 7 apostles or something. Later on Rosette joins Magdala Order along with Chrono. Eventually as the story progress Rosette and Chrono meet a variety of different characters who joins them not to mention they have a few encounters with Aion, and several other demons. Towards the end Aion is supposely defeated and killed. A few years later Rosette passes away while waiting for Chrono to return. (If I remember correctly he returns every so often to put flowers on her grave, along with the others who knew Rosette, and I think that in the manga Azmaria has someone record a video to let [the one women who always fights with rosette] know what happened after she was frozen). All in all Chrono Crusade is a good anime and manga, but and the end Rosette dies in both the anime and manga; while in the manga Chrono is still alive but in the anime he dies along with Rosette.
No, in the manga what happens is unclear, but from the information about how demmons are born to a queen demon (Pandaemonium), this would be impossible. In the anime, it would probably not have been possible either, but they both died before any children could have been born were it possible.
The Chrono Crusade is a manga series originating in Japan. It is written and illustrated by Daisuke Moriyama. Set in New York City in the 1920s, it follows the adventures of Rosette Christopher and her demon partner Chrono.
