Slash left the band, and after Axl offering him a lot of money to rejoin Guns N' Roses (which Slash obviously turned down), Axl Rose got annoyed and now hates him with a passion. Slash recently praised Axl Rose for his performance on Guns N' Roses latest album, 'Chinese Democracy' saying, 'Axl Rose is f***ing phenomenal' (WikiAnswers won't let you swear). Slash also said in a recent interview talking about maybe ever reuniting with Axl Roses' Guns N' Roses, "I'm more stand-offish because I know how vehemently he hates me, so that sort of makes me doubt it. But if we ran into each other and all that animosity were to pass for a second, then I'm sure we could have an interesting conversation." but I do not think this will happen because Axl said in a interview ''one of them would be dead before they would perform together again''
