Well are you referring to the show or the book. Well, in the books, Stefan almost dies about 2 times but Elena has saved him both times. He almost freezes in a well, and almost starves to death in Shadow Souls. On the show, he hasn't died Yet. We don't know.
i reeeaaallly hope stefan dies in the tv show. apparently he pays an awful price for trying to save someone. Damon maybe? yayayayayay
