During Eclipse, Rosalie tells her the reason why she doesn't like Bella... It is because she is jealous...
Jacob claims that Rosalie doesn't care if the baby sucks the life out of Bella as long as the baby is alive.
Bella asks Rosalie to help her through pregnancy. It is assumed Rosalie is only doing this to get the baby, but Rosalie and Bella do develop a comradeship.

∙ 13y agoNot really, she was just a bit jealous of her, because Edward loved her, but in Breaking Dawn they are best mates. Although Jacob claims she was only being her bestie for Bella's baby, renesmee.

Rosalie only 'dislikes' Bella because she is jealous of the chance at life she never had. rosalie didnt wanna be a vamp. :) x

∙ 15y agoShe seems to in Breaking Dawn when Bella's baby is threatened. Rose has this thing and babies; she wants one but cant have one. So, when Bella had one Rose got all protective of it, and Bella seemed to like her back, to a degree.

∙ 12y agoin eclipse, Rose explains herself a little more, but it isn't until Breaking Dawn that they form an alliance/friendship. Bella is afraid that Edward will make her get rid of the baby, but she knows Rose will help, so she calls her. the next half of the book, Rose is like Bella's bodyguard, and after Bella has the baby, she and Rosalie are friends still, because now Rosalie can relish the fact that she helped keep Renesmee alive, and gets to experience motherhood through Bella.

As in the book, Rosalie, is very beautiful and apparently no guy has ever not been attracted to her, so, when she met Edward she had a resentement towards the fact that he showed no interest in her whatsoever. And when Bella came along and Edward was in love with her, Rosalie flipped. Even though she is quite in love with Emmett and probably wouldent have been interested in Edward, she still resents the fact that he wasnt attracted to her. So, basically, Rosalie was jealous of Bella for getting Edward's attention so easily when she couldent.
