He has a son named Pascoe, who, after discovering that his mother, Sylvia MacManus, had committed suicide because Dave was involved with a much younger Kris, was deeply affected by the tragedy. He also has a daughter named Bobby Marti and a son from his first marriage, Clayton, whom he has never met, despite attempts by Clayton to reach out after the passing of his ex-wife, as reported in a Sunday paper. Pascoe contributed to several Hawkwind albums, including "Choose Your Masques" in 1983, shortly after his mother's death. Dave also covered a song by one of his friends titled "Motherless Children." Unfortunately, Pascoe fell into drug use, blaming himself for not waking up a minute earlier, a thought he replayed in his mind. However, he is now 12 years clean, though he does not speak to any of his children or great-grandchildren. Indeed, the rock and roll lifestyle is not always as glamorous as it seems.

Hawkwind are a rock band, specifically a space rock group. This subspecialty of rock music makes psychedelic and progressive music. It was first popular in the 1970s.
Hawkwind visited America in 2007 for NEARfest and two other gigs. There are no confirmed plans to tour America yet, but there are likely some underway. There was rumoured to be a tour in Spring 2011, but it didn't materialise. If they do tour again, it'll almost definitely cover the North East, from what I've heard, not sure about anywhere else. Head-Hawk Dave Brock is 70 now, so I don't think he's particularly up for slumming it, but if they can get together a few solid, fairly paid dates, I'm sure it'll happen, but touring America is expensive, especially for a band that has been underground there for most of their career, and the notorious US customs don't help! If not Hawkwind, there is also Nik Turner and his series of bands, including the Hawklords (a compilation of ex-Hawkwind members who've recently toured Britain and Europe) which may come to America in the future, and, fans of Hawkwind/Motorhead will love Gunslinger, ex-Hawkwind bassist Alan Davey's own band - they've actually just come off a monthlong US stint across the south and east in September 2011, so I'm sure they'll be back this year (2012) or soon....
As a famous cult icon musical artist, Lemmy Kilmister was known for role as lead vocalist in the rock band Motorhead. Kilmister additionally was a former member of the band Hawkwind.
