all i know is that when he was first starting out with incubus- he definitely was and he has said that many of his first songs were written while being high. light grenades was supposively all the product of weed. i am a huge fan, but he seems like by now he would have stopped- hes too good or that:)

**Actually Brandon Boyd did and still does smoke. I know in the past he smoked cigarettes as well as weed. Although I'm not sure about cigarettes now, I do know he still smokes weed. I went to his concert here in Hawaii for his new album. During one of the songs he forgot a few lines and after the song ended he said he forgot the lyrics because he smoked some "really expensive weed". Ain't no shame in smoking that green. Doesn't make him any less of a person.
