Original Answer: Non-definite no. I downloaded the supposed cover a few times from different sources and they are all the same, the original song by Sweet.

Really? I am pretty sure I used to have a copy of Meat Loaf's version alongside the Sweet version. It was definitely sung by Meat Loaf at some point, although his voice did sound a bit rough, which suggests the cover was made later in his career.

Who sings the song 'Ballroom Blitz'?

"Sweet" is the name of the band. They also did "Fox On The Run", another hit from the 1974 album "Desolation Boulevard". It was done by Sweet in 1975. There were actually 4 bands that performed "Ballroom Blitz." Sweet, Krokus, Blue Oyster Cult, and The Misfits The Buzzcocks also performed it. Like everyone else said, from The Sweet. But I really think it's THE Sweet. :)

If you mean Silverchair's most popular song in their career, I would have to say either "Tomorrow" from Frogstomp or "Ana's Song (Open Fire)" from Neon Ballroom.

Where did the blitz in World War 2?

the blitz (if british) was on alot of major cities which is destroyed could cripple the british fighting machine. alot of bombing was done on london, Hull (where im from) took alot of hits (as it was a fishing town) but it was never reported ove rthe radio as "Hull hit by the blitz" which would let the germans know they are hitting them... this was done by the germans, but the german 'blitzkrieg' was the same but to stop the german fighting machine.

How do you use 'Blitz' in Final Fantasy 6?

You select the 'Blitz' command, and press the directional button in the right combination for the move you want to execute. Then press A to confirm it - if you did it correctly, Sabin will use the Blitz move, if not, it will say you entered an invalid combination. The combinations for Sabin's moves are visible on his Status page, they are unlocked as he levels up, with the final one unlocked by a game event.

Did the blitz kill animals?

Absolutely. Not on purpose, animals were not targeted. But the Germans were dropping bombs on blacked out cities. Pets were not allowed in air raid shelters. Wild birds, squirrels and rabbits and so on had no idea where to go or what to do. The blitz was indiscriminate in its violence and any living thing could be killed by it. I believe I remember that the London Zoo happened to be hit in one raid.
